Grit and Glory of Sweet Summit

Sweet Summit took the stage to perform for a crowd of FarmHouse Fraternity members and supporters of their philanthropy event. With the early fall sunset casting its golden glow and the crisp air settling in, the band kept the audience captivated with original songs and covers of their own favorites.

The venue—set against the backdrop of smoky fire pits and mismatched lawn chairs—perfectly reflected the band’s raw, rugged persona. As the sun dipped behind the horizon, the show lights cast colorful hues, creating striking shadows that danced along with each band member’s movements.

My favorite moment came when vocalists and guitarists, Augie and Owen, shared an unspoken moment of brotherhood, locking hands in a quick but powerful gesture. You could feel the energy between them, amped by the audience’s engagement and the atmosphere of the night. Meanwhile, Gavin, their hard-hitting drummer, kept the beat going as the night drew to a close.
